Workshops and Classes

    Several times a year, PAL invites well-known professional artists to present workshops to PAL members and our community. Our goal is always to bring the teacher to us, which saves travel expenses for our members and also provides penty of time for painting and individual feedback.

   October 23 & 24 -- Big Brush Watercolor Workshop with Ron Ranson.
   Ron Ranson, the juror for our Open Juried Show, is an English artist, teacher and author who recently moved to Portland, Oregon. He uses a hake brush to create paintings that are impressionistic and representational and are renowned for their purity of design and clear, transparent color. He will present a 'Big Brush Watercolor' two-day workshop to PAL members and friends in October. For complete details and a registration form click here.
