... are held the fourth Tuesday of most months at the United Methodist Church at 7400 Pioneer Way, near downtown Gig Harbor. Social hour at 5:30pm; business meeting at 6pm ; art demo / program at 7pm. (Note: Please don't park in the"Visitor" spots in the parking lot.)

    April 28 -- General meeting. Program: Mary Schumaker ~ Watercolor with yupo. We'll also introduce our high school poster contest winners.

    May 26 -- General meeting. Program: Kathleen Kemly ~ Collage & acrylics.

    June 23 -- General meeting. Program: Frances Buckmaster from Tacoma Urban Sketchers.

   Art Displays -- At every general meeting, we have a display of work by three of our members. Each Featured Artist brings a few pieces of their work and is available to chat during the social hour. This gives us a chance to get to know one another better as artists and to show off our latest creations. Contact Roberta Rogers at if you'd like to display your work at a meeting.


PAL Shows

   Members' Shows -- One of the privileges of PAL membership is being able to show your work in the public art shows we sponsor several times a year. These shows are very popular and are well-attended by art lovers, artists and the community at large.
   Our next Members' Show will be July 19 & 20 during the Art Festival.
Upcoming PAL-Sponsored Shows & Exhibitions

    13th Annual Open Juried Show -- Our 2015 Open Juried Show will take place at the Harbor History Museum Sept. 12-Oct.18. In addition to the usual 2D work, 3D work will be accepted this year. Professional photographer Larry Ikenberry will judge photography. Pastel artist Dawn Emerson will jury the paintings and sculpture. She'll also give a three-day workshop prior to the show.     Ongoing: TCC Gig Harbor -- PAL members are invited to show their work in the TCC gallery. Shows change every two months. Contact Roberta Rogers at for information on the TCC gallery.

    Screening for PAL Shows -- All screened PAL members are encouraged to participate in Members' Shows, Specialty Shows (e.g. Plein Air Show or Net Shed Show) and the on-going TCC shows. Screenings take place three times a year: in February, May and September, immediately prior to the general meeting.
