Uptown Art Show -- During the month of June, artwork by PAL members is on display in stores and restaurants throughout Uptown shopping center. Be sure to look for these paintings when your visiting Uptown. 14th Annual Maritime Art Exhibition -- Call for Artists: Deadline is June 21; Apply via onlinejuriedshows.com. This year's Maritime Art Show will take place July 20-Aug. 25 at Harbor History Museum. Plein Air Paintout -- Aug. 17 at Harbor History Museum. Paint anything maritime that can be seen from the museum grounds. Register when you arrive. For information, contact Pat Meras at (253) 857-5081. PAL Shows & Exhibitions Our 2013 Open Juried Show will take place August 31- Oct 6 at Harbor History Museum. We're delighted to be partnering with the museum for this important show. It's a perfect setting for art and for the workshop with our juror Joe Garcia. On-line applications are preferred via OnlineJuriedShows.com. If you prefer to enter by postal mail, download a Call for Entries here. Deadline for postal mail entries is June 19; deadline for on-line entries is June 26. Our Summer Members' Show will be held during the Summer Art Festival, July 20 & 21, at Key Bank on Judson Street. Tapestry artist Cecelia Blomberg is our juror for this very popular show. (All PAL artists who've been screened are encouraged to partipate. For entry details, here.) Our Spring Members' Show took place in May at Kimball Gallery. The winning paintings are shown below. Screening takes place three times a year - in February, May and September, immediately prior to the general meeting. The next screening will be right before the September meeting.
